 It is the intent of Shenandoah Civil War Tours to provide high quality low cost tours to some of the Shenandoah Valleys most significant civil war battle sites. Jackson Valley Campaign Tours usually consist of small groups of two to six people. We prefer not to combine groups in an attempt to make the tour as private as possible. 

 Tours are conducted, primarily, as they would have been seen through the eyes of three individuals, Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson, Jedediah Hotchkiss, and Turner Ashby. The tour provides extensive information on both the strategy and tactics of each battle and closely follows the routes traveled by both armies. If the traveler has an ancestor that fought for one of the armies we will do our best to cater the tour with that in mind.

As a word of caution touring does involve a lot of walking and in one case an optional two mile hike up and down a sizable hill at McDowell.
